Spring Practice

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Spring Practice

Post by RichH » Thu Mar 24, 2022 10:56 am

Day 1. Goals
No injuries
No QB fiasco repetition of the last 2 Springs
An OL
The roster is maturing. This is the year that TG needs to have a team that can compete from the 1st game . Inexperience and youth are no longer big issues.

Weekend takeaways.
No injuries yet 👍
Nice phot gallery. Note that there were no bulging stomachs evident on the OL. 😄
Junior day had a phenominal response. It's been a long time since I've seen this level of participation and positive responses.

Spring Practice Post: Meet The New Coaches

https://lehighfootballnation.blogspot.c ... ehigh.html
When we last left Lehigh football, they were enjoying a three-game winning streak to end the 2021 season with an extremely satisfying 17-10 win over Lafayette, which was Tom Gilmore's first win over the Leopards as Lehigh's head coach.

Since then, winter workouts have allowed the players to build up to the spring session and will allow Gilmore and his staff to build on their November success.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it has been a long time, going back to Andy's tenure that we will have the same offensive line coach 2 years in a row.

What the hell is a "quality control" person on a coaching staff. Seems from what I have read on various different schools it can be anything..someone doing 'technical support' with things like video as well as being a glorified "go fer" who checks that certain equipment is where it should be for practice, i.e. dummies, blocking pads, sleds, kicking nets, etc. Seems like a lot of stuff that the 'managers' used to do back in the day....
