Saving Gillmore's Job

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

If JS didn’t have the fortitude to fire Gilmore during a bye week, I think there’s a zero percent chance he does so at all.

The season is lost with no potential upside except a win over Lafayette… and that looks increasingly unlikely.

Packing it up till next season when God willing we have a new HC and…. I pray a new AD.

JS deserves a lot of praise for a dedicated career but the time has come.

Speaking of the OC or HC? Or both… serious question
The OC...but both are intolerable in somewhat different ways. My son was recruited by Coen and Folmar...what a tragic downgrade he endured.

Only Gilmore and weather forecasters can be this bad and keep their jobs.

The “Elon” comments are about Musk, not the university.

Jim Clements, a serious contender last time, makes alot of sense. Before his highly successful tenure at Kutztown, he did a great job at the d3 level Delaware Valley. Like Bob Chesney, a proven winner and turnaround artist at multiple levels. Although he has a defensive background, someone very knowledgeable told me that he has an " offensive mind." In general, an offensive mind is what we need considering Silbor is our future.

Other names that intrigue me:

1, Jared Ambrose, OC Albany.
2. Christian Taylor, OC William and Mary
3. Patrick Murphy, OC at URI( formerly Chesney's at HC)
4. Manny Rojas, DC at Delaware( formerly Pards DC)
5. Tyree Foreman, PG coordinator at Towson, long FCS pedigree, including associate HC. A perfect candidate for an associate HC job.

Note re Ambrose, if Albany fires their head coach, he could become available as OC. They have one of the best offenses in FCS, but also one of the worst defenses.
