Congrats to Field Hockey.

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Since FH is the women's equivalent of FBI figure this belongs here

2nd Patriot Title, but First NCAA qualification. I wonder why? A conference with 3 Pa FH teams certainly would have more merit than say the SEC or Big 8 in states with no real FH tradition.

Anyway, I remember before Women were part of the NCAA they belonged to AIWA, and our ladies qualified for the National Tournament in D2.

Good example of what hiring the “right” person for the job. Lehigh field hockey has, historically, been under water, but a new coach was hired a few years ago and now the results are being seen.

Coach Sue Butz-Stavens reached her 1000th win last year.

Last year I had the team on a WWRafting trip on the Lehigh. Since Emaus is nicknamed the Hornets, I offered to take the girls down on an alternate line next to Hornet Island, but they did not agree.

Back when Tom Hutchinson was assistant, then head, wrestling coach his wife was coaching dominant (several national team champs) in both FH and Softball. Apparently we could not match the Huskies Salary.
