Kevin Cahil

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

Yes, he is. The “final four” were all strong candidates and Cahill is an excellent choice. The vetting process was quite thorough and I am looking forward to Lehigh rebounding in the near future.

My son plays there. He is a bright guy, very creative, a terrific listener, persistent recruiter, organized and innovative. They are very disappointed to lose him and Lehigh is exceptionally lucky to have him turn around this program

Hopefully a few years from now we will all be thrilled with the hire. Personally, I would have liked to see someone with some head coaching experience.

ESD is tomorrow adding to Coach Cahill's ToDo list. Besides a staff, meeting team,he has to evaluate current verbals to keep the ones he likes. BTW that also includes our portal players. I note that Silbor's Dad liked the tweet of Cahill's hire. Does that mean anything ? Dunno.

Even before a new OC, that should be his first call.

Nice hire, but not that inspired of a hire that Lehigh will ever contend for Final 4 of FCS Playoffs.
Lehigh once again playing to be Ivy Light.

Kevin won't be at Lehigh for more than 5 years. Lehigh will win early and often, and he will move on to much bigger programs.

This is a spectacular hire.

For those who asked if a video of the introduction had been posted...... the full introduction, coach Cahill's remarks as well as his answers in a Q & A session are now up on LehighSports.com.

My first reaction was that facially he appears a bit like Cael Sanderson (egad!). His remarks in the presser were as one would expect with thanks to those who helped him get here. But his answers in the Q & A sold me on the guy, lock stock & gun barrel. I almost started looking for a helmet! The video runs about 20 minutes and well worth your time.

I completely agree with mookie's remarks (above). We will be thrilled while he's here, and crying when he moves to FBS.
