ESD
Re: ESD
Any word about how he is doing keeping some of the players who entered the portal?
Re: ESD
I know he has reached out to all of them to discuss their situation. Some he has yet to reach. I've been told he's been very honest and for the most part it's been well recieved. I have only heard of 3 kids giving a definitive answer thus far...2 are leaving and one staying. I have heard coach expects a majority to leave and is really focusing on retaining 3-4 of the departing kids
Re: ESD
The majority of those in the portal are seniors, so there is very little, if at all, to keep them. Lehigh doesn't have the type of masters program that fit well with the football commitment. A few have been able to work around it over the years, but not many.
Any word on the QB who has signed early? Also of interest is whether Silbor might still return.

Re: ESD
If he could keep Silbor that would be great. The little bit he played in the Princeton game, it was obvious he has a lot of talent.

Re: ESD
Decent is a bit of a stretch. Liberty without Hugh Freeze? I'll concede Eastern Michigan has become one of the better MAC programs under Chris Creighton (9th year, MAC stability). Charlotte, Akron and Arkansas State are varying degrees of a trainwreck. Do you know one can obtain a MBA from Arkansas State for a total of $7,500 regardless of residency status? A K-State faculty member brought that to my attention when discussing regional (Midwest) institutional positioning. Blew my mind....LU808 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 12:14 pmMason Humphrey - looks like we beat out some decent programs.LU808 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 22, 2022 12:12 pm

As it is, from an academic and athletic standpoint it sounds like Humphrey is making the wise decision. Akron has some excellent engineering programs but Joe Moorhead has yet to turn the football ship around.
