Season preview. Offense
Season preview. Offense
Coch Cahill and Padezanin. Up on LU site as well as Twitter and Instagram.
Interesting and well done. A lot about team culture. Takeaways.
Multiple sets. The run game will be the emphasis per Cahill citing our talent at RB.
Worth a watch.

Re: Season preview. Offense
Cahill lauded the OL as a unit. Noted LU would run Iback sets. Perri is a natural runner. Won't be surprised to see both in many games.

Re: Season preview. Offense
If the OL truly is at the very least "solid", there are enough weapons to take a lot of pressure (literally and figuratively) off the QB, whoever it is.
Really looking forward to the season! Lehigh will be at the very least put forth an applaud worthy performance against Villanova. There is finally proper leadership to allow effort to be rewarded. Even if it's at an incremental level to start...
Re: Season preview. Offense
I actually think Silbor is the better runner. Perri has been below average in run game.
Cahill was a terrific hire. With time, he will build something real. It’s a breath of fresh air after 4 completely wasted, throw away years. Looking forward to renewed optimism.

Thanks LUFAN . We'll see how Hunt plays his O.RBs very good but there is e ceptional skills at WR also. OL will be better than last year but will it be good enough. If so, this could be a good year.LUFAN wrote: ↑Thu Aug 24, 2023 4:53 pmI actually think Silbor is the better runner. Perri has been below average in run game.

Re: Season preview. Offense
Let's not get over our skis. While we should be better, we are very thin in experience. A significant loss of personnel due to injury, and we could go sideways. This is especially with regard to the OL, which is key for the O to succeed. IF the OL can stay and be cohesive, we have the potential to put up a lot of points...which may be necessary until the D secondary matures.

Too old to ski any more.ngineer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 27, 2023 11:05 pm Let's not get over our skis. While we should be better, we are very thin in experience. The key to the season is.the OL. After the returning 7 starters,we have a lot of bodies, youth and virtually no experience. That said I won't be shocked to see Huff in the 2 deep .
Re: Season preview. Offense
We return Jones (S); Jordan and Lassiter (CB) in the 2ndary.. Lots of potential but zero experience behind them.
Not sure whether we will stay with the 3-3-5 thus year.
Cahill emphasized DL in the frosh class. DL is now 4 deep for a 3 mam line.
Will we see a preview of the defense this week?

D preview up on LU site. Takeaways. Players love Coach Kash. Not changing basic D set but adding new wrinkles. Colton noted the frosh DL kids.
Enjoyable listen Colton and DiNuuci's enthusiasm is electric.
