Apparently, the Hens are going to FBS next year.

I was surprised they're going.

At least when Georgia Southern, App State and James Madison went (even UConn?) -- and even some of the Kentucky schools -- they were on an upward trajectory.

I guess we'll see how the Blue Hens fare this year, having squeaked by the Pards.

No one should be in FBS with less than 22 varsity sports. And the max teams in the division should be 128

Agreed. Some of these FBS monsters have drastically reduced their varsity sports.

If UD was joining the Sunbelt I could see it but outside of Liberty there is no real juice in C-USA. WKU has not elevated themselves like I would have guessed years ago and everyone else is just middling along. They have a great coach in Jerry Kill at New Mexico State but their season in general is a major outlier.

JMU is learning the reality of G5. Great season and the entire team defects!

On a more positive note as it relates to college football. Kutztown beat Slippery Rock to advance to the D2 Semifinals. This is a big deal for a school like KU! Jim Clements is the man!

I love the fact that FSU is torqued up about not getting selected to the 'final four'....yet, the ACC voted against expanding the playoffs a couple years ago!! SMH
