Commit #17 Dakarai Bryant

Back-to-back PL champs 2016 and 2017.... but need to get back to relevance in the national FCS scene.

We have sorely lacked a sufficient number of speedsters over the years. Nice to have a couple 'game breakers'. Speed can change the dynamics of a game immediately..and it's something that can't be taught!

I have always wondered if Spadola and Bragalone were kept from the NFL because of some magic in inalterable speed requirement these days. Spadola seemed to me like an order of magnitude better than Krieder.

Athletes have gotten bigger, faster and stronger over the years. Spadola had his opportunity in the NFL and a bit of notoriety in a pre-season game with the Jets but there were always those who were better in those areas.

Bragalone on the other hand IMO opinion had superb strength and decent speed who was a straight north-south runner who needed the hole to run through. He didn't have near enough wriggle and so what worked at the FCS level had little chance in the NFL.

With speed like that I am sure his size is primarily why he's going FCS. Glad he chose us. Let's make things happen!

I agree. It is likely the same reason Jamiel ended up here. Looking over the film, I saw a lot of speed going north/south but not necessarily the lateral movement that could make him really dangerous. It doesn't mean it isn't there though.

The future will be very interesting.

Just a reminder....Brain Westbrook Villanova (FCS) / NFL (HOF) was 5'10 and 210 lbs.
