Great opportunity this Saturday for the Hawks against #1 ranked Army. No way of knowing but this may be the first time Lehigh has ever played the top ranked team in the country. Army is the real deal so it will be a huge upset if LU wins. That said, Lehigh typically plays Army tough so if they bring their A game, it could be a dogfight. Goalie Nick Pecora has been excellent so far this year and he was the difference against Navy. Will need a similar effort from him on Saturday and their best effort on defense to keep Army’s offense in check. Also, Army’s FOGO is the best in the PL and one of the best nationally so it will be imperative for Lehigh to keep his winning percentage as close to 50% as possible. Anything can happen. Go Hawks!

I stand corrected. It appears Lehigh played UVA in the Covid shortened 2020 season when UVA was ranked #1. A 12-8 loss.
