Only caught 4th period in which Army outscored us 4-2. Upside Spence made clutch saves as did the squad. Kudos on a great W.

Watched both this and football on the web. It looked like LAX was better attended.

I had the opportunity to attend the game. I would say there might have been 250-300 in attendance. What a great game. Not sure if it came through on tv but the game was extremely physical on both ends. Old school lacrosse in many ways. Except for sloppiness at the end of the 3Q and into the 4Q, the offense moved the ball well and was able to get it inside which is not easy to do against Army. Sisselberger was again the star exploiting their obvious weakness. The fact that the score was so close given the possession disparity shows how good Army is so this was a huge win, better than Loyola in my opinion. The defense adjusted and did a much better job on Nichtern in the second half. He got his numbers but was limited after halftime. Spence came up big at the end after the Hawks turned the ball over a few times trying to run down the clock. This team is very good. They can play with and beat anybody. Now onto Navy who got beat by Loyola today!
