Good team win after a slow start. It was good to get Kirst back but losing Schelling hurt. Hopefully he will be back next week. After all of the injuries, this team can’t afford to lose anyone else, especially on the offensive end. Goals are hard to come by. For continued success, the defense is going to have to continue the effort they showed against Navy and Cornell. Spence needs to be big every game and Sisselberger needs to dominate. When they have off games, ie Hobart, there is not enough offense to win a shootout.

Army is the team to beat in the Patriot League. Their obvious weakness is at X. They will be tough to score on so every possession will count. That said, can’t fall asleep on Holy Cross this coming Saturday. They are 0-5 but have guys who can shoot it. Also, they held Army’s Nichtern (arguably the best offensive player in the PL) without a goal on Saturday.
