Hoyas 14_11 over LU.

Down 10-5 we battled back but fell short.Hoyas are good but we are very close. Mistakes and repeated lapse by us determined the outcome.
Played really well for three quarters but the second quarter unfortunately got away from them. Spence was not seeing the ball well in the first half and the defense had a poor quarter. Both adjusted well in the second half and the team deserves a lot of credit for coming back when the game could have gotten ugly. The offense had numerous chances in the 4Q to tie it up but turnovers (23) ultimately cost them. It's hard to beat a team that good when you make that many mistakes.
Off to Binghamton on Tuesday and then the Pards on Saturday. Neither of these teams can be taken lightly. Binghamton is 2-0 in their conference and Lafayette has guys who can shoot it. Go Hawks!
