Great article about the 3 Asian members of Lehigh's recruiting class.

Great article about three highly motivated high class young men.

From the sounds of it they each developed an inner drive to succeed on and off the court that propelled them to Lehigh and perhaps beyond...basketball-wise.

We can hope to enjoy their journey for the next 4-5 years while at LU and cheer from afar as they move beyond LU.

Coaches did great job with these young men so far!

I have to admit I was curious as to how these kids found Lehigh. And how we had the good fortune for them to select us. Roll in Dominic Parolin from the Vancouver area, Jalin Sinclair from NYC, and Luke Triana from Doylestown and you have the biggest freshman class ever in Lehigh basketball history? Are we now the youngest team in the Patriot League? Gonna be really interesting to see how they all develop.

Now get the league to allow a few OOC games!!! Drexel, Lasalle, St. Joe's, Rider, Delaware are all right around the corner....... not to mention ESU and Kutztown.......

The part that intrigued me was that Li is 6-6, 230# and has a 40 in vertical leap. By comparison, Only 7.5% of the players in the NBA can jump like that.

This will be a different team structure. Doc always loved a group of 6-5 to 6-7 guys that can shoot. This year's team will feature 3 bigs who like to play with their back to the basket. At 6-8 280#, Tan will take up a lot of space in the paint.

LU has never had this much beef on a roster. Usually 1 or 2 in any year. Also very very young. A roller coaster for sure but the up games will be so much fun.

At 6-8 280#, I'd like to see Tan get down to 260-265 lbs.

Ben Li is still getting a lot of ink in the South China Morning Press

I'm anticipating his debut in less than 3 weeks.
