American - Games 3 and 4

While we await the release of Game Notes out of both AU and LU, I give you………….

The Wild and Wonderful PL
Bucky’s 3-point home loss to Navy (63-60) on Sunday is all that separates us from being a league of equals – in terms of 1-1 records that is - after two games. The other teams managed a split in their back-to-back encounters. And, of course, due to Covid-19 restrictions in place at LOM, they and their opening game opponent, American University, sit tied at 0-0. Recapping, after the first two games it’s:

Navy @2-0
CU, BU, AWP, LC, LU HC @ 1-1
Bucky @ 0-2
LOM and AU @ 0-0

LOM is still grounded for the upcoming weekend play. This time, they force Navy to sit and wait-it-out. The team LOM was to have played this past weekend, AU, is, no doubt, glad to be back in commission and will take their 0-0 record north to Lehigh on Saturday. Just what we needed: a thoroughly rested and anxious to do damage Eagle squad from D.C. We will, of course, return the visit on Sunday when we travel south.

J. Alamudun 3rd in Rebounds per Game @ 8.5 and 6th in FG% @ .600
R. Fenton 1st in Assists/TO Ratio @ 7.0

For those who follow and enjoy Kenneth Pomeroy’s (KenPom) team and game-by-game analyses, I give you his rankings and thoughts for Lehigh this weekend
PL: 21st of 32 D-1 Conferences
LU: 291st of 357 D-1 Teams
Games 3 & 4 Projections: LU to split with AU, winning at home by 1 and losing on the road by 4
