CJ return to PA?

I think it may be inevitable that CJ will be returning to PA before the end of the year, as a centerpiece in a Ben Simmons deal. I'd like to see him as the new starting Sixers SG. Sixers won't be able to pry away Lilliard, or another star of that level, but CJ, and a couple other pieces would be a decent return for a very disappointing Ben Simmons.
JJ Redick had a very good stretch with Embiid in a pick and roll setup. I think CJ could really flourish in that role for a number of years. Obviously, his skill set far exceeds Redick, although JJ was a better pure shooter. CJ could be lethal from distance and mid-range off the dribble, as a spacer for Embiid. I think Portland has gone as far as it can with CJ/Dame, any split would be about time, as they aren't contending in the West with that core.
