Game 8- Boston University

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

Game 8- Boston University

How Ken Pomeroy see it

LU #314 (7-12/5-2)
@
BU #181 (12-8/3-4)
BU by 11 (74-63)

But, BU is 1-3 at home and LU is 3-1 on the road in PL play. Soooooo, ya never know.............

Fun League Stats to Consider

The "3"
BU is second best at defending the "3" allowing just 29.9% to go in during League play while LU is second best at the hitting the long range shot @ 39.2%. Could be a differenc maker.

Player Expereince
BU @ 2.45 yrs.
LU at 1.74 yrs. (230th nationally)

Pulling down the "O" Rebounds
BU #1 @ 32.2%
LU #10 @ 21.3%

Free Throws Made
BU #2 @ 75.9%
LU #6 @ 68.1%

Player Experience
BU @ 2.45 yrs. (38th nationally)
LU @ 1.74 yrs. (230th nationally)

While some (Ken Pom included) see us winning just one of the next 6 (BU/AWP/HC/N/BU/CU) and to one to one's surprise it is HC. Grin and bear it, LU fans. The final five are a bit - a great bit - easier featuring 2 with the Leopards and one against Bucky.

Game Notes are up! A superior read.

Enjoy the game and may Number 11 be in the house.

BU 80-74

One hell of a game. The common thread in Bball. Team that takes 1st half loses 2nd. We got the 2nd just not by enough. TOs ,albeit not terrible, were too many.
