2022-2023 Schedule
Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
When will we get the actual schedule from Lehigh?
Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
As soon as they firm up the D3 game with Cabrini or Holy Family
Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
Is there a reason we don't schedule Muhlenberg, DeSales, or Moravian for our annual D3 game?
Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
Lehigh has played Muhlenberg twice, both in last 20 years
Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
Schedule is up. This may be worst home schedule ever. TWO D3 donkeys, Misericordia and St. Elizabeth. Gem of the home slate is Monmouth.

Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
Disappointed Lehigh doesn't play a home game over the Thanksgiving holiday (and that the Sunday 11/27 Monmouth game starts at 7 PM).
I'll probably attend two games:
*01/16 (Mon): at Loyola (MD), 7:00 PM
*02/18 (Sat): at American, 2:00 PM

Re: 2022-2023 Schedule
I would love to be a fly on the wall when these schedules are put together each year.
I wish we could just schedule more Colonial, Ivy and A10 teams, but we seem mired in America East, Metro Atlantic and Northeast conferences.
With that said, 11 games on the OOC slate, and I'm going with these predictions. The number in brackets is the final Sagarin rating for our opponent last season. Lehigh ended up 298. I know things dramatically change year to year, but for some context.
@ Syracuse (66) - LOSS
@ Virginia Tech (25) - LOSS
MISERICORDIA (X) - WIN
MARIST (231) - WIN
@ St. Francis PA (324) - WIN
MONMOUTH (158) - LOSS
@ Maryland ES (341) - WIN
UMBC (235) - LOSS
Wisconsin (27) - LOSS
ST. ELIZABETH - WIN
@ Cornell (201) - LOSS
So, that gets us to 5-6, or 3-6 vs D1 programs.
Hopefully, we play a couple of the powerhouse teams within 10 (we did take Rutgers to OT last season). Hopefully, we can knock off a couple of decent squads (Cornell, UMBC, Monmouth), and no major slip ups.
