Monday Night It Kicks Off in the Dome

Young team returns in 2018-2019 with tons of promise. Can they get back to the NCAA Tournament?

3 days before opener.

Trying to get some buzz going. Can Lehigh keep it close at ‘Cuse?

I'd take Lehigh and 30.

Would anyone give that to me?

I think 30 is way too much, and that is far more than the actual line will be. You have to remember that this Syracuse team is not like the traditionally strong Syracuse teams. They had an overall losing record last year, and lost three of their top four players from that team. Jim Boeheim stayed way too long.

It is still Syracuse, and it is still in their house. Any player on their roster would be starting for Lehigh. It would be good to keep it within 15.

They have four functional players on their roster 6'11' or over. Who do we have to guard them?

Not a great performance, lost by 18.

Interesting notes:

No freshman starter, but Tan in starting lineup.

Didn’t shoot it well, got killed on glass

Momah 5 points, Adiassa project

Cuse shot 55% from field and 50% from 3. So, D was poor.

Taylor a bright spot

FWIW, I saw lines on game day between 17 points and 18.5 points. So depending on what line you got, you might’ve been a winner or a loser or got a push.

Disappointing, but hopefully we will see improvement as season progresses, like last year. Really surprised Tan started. But at 6'8" he was our leading rebounder. Parolin at 6'9", no rebounds? On to VaTech Thursday.
