Thursday night in Madison....

Is there any word on how J.T. and Jakob A. are doing? Most importantly, here's hoping they are feeling better. And then on the court, did they make the trip to Madison...? They've been decent rebounders on occasion, and we dearly need any help we can get in that department. UMBC was probably the worst Lehigh performance I have seen since the Sal Mentesana era 20 years ago. We were out rebounded by the Retrievers 42-22. UMBC shot 57% from the field including 40.7% from 3. And there's a rumor going around that tonight's opponent is a little better than UMBC. (Lehigh +22 per Kenpom, +22.5 at FanDuel)

For those unaware, you and the nation can watch tonight's contest on The Big Ten Network, 7pm eastern. We have played well in spurts this year, when Higgins, Taylor & T.W.-S. get hot. And when we don't throw the ball away. Hopefully we're at out best tonight.

Just sitting down to watch. Hope for more energy than the last 2 games.

All in all a very good game for us. Kept it close until the last 10 minutes. Bottom line we can't shoot 3s nor defend against them.

At the very least it proves we can be competitive. As we do not have a realistic option at center, I liked the opening line up with Alamadun, Taylor, and Parolin in a 3 forward set up. Better flow, less turn over tendency. 13 t/o’s tonight wasn’t great, but better than usual. Now can we improve on that in league play?
Scrimmage with St Elizabeth Saturday, at Cornell Tuesday, and then it starts Friday Dec. 30th at Army.

PS: Kenpom prediction was 78-55, with the actual score at 78-56. Spooky……..

A lot of "up and down" results in the early go in the PL. Seems everyone has 'gate as #1, but seems most have been erratic and hard to see who will be Colgate's primary challengers.
