Navy Match next Saturday
Re: Navy Match next Saturday
I am presuming that coaches didn’t want to put Lawrence up against another top 10 ranked wrestler at this point & felt that Meyer had better chance to overcome last year 2-0 loss?
Hope Lawrence wrestled on the second mat & not injured as he will be a good one in my opinion.
Burkhart deserves considerable accolades in his bout against Cerniglia. That was exciting & he worked continuously. Do you think Meyer beats him for that spot as I was impressed with his talent & aggressive wrestling.

Lawrence got majored by Skidgel (why do I think of gardening tools whenever I see or hear that name?) then lost decisively to a Navy back-up (who also beat Meyer) in the extra bouts. Lacombe also lost to a Navy back-up in the extras.
For a kid who, preseason, talked about how much lifting he had done over the summer and how he'd be looking to score more points this season, Hoffman hasn't impressed with his aggressiveness or his results. Against Navy in the extras he got a one point overtime win against a back-up whom Bryant beat handily.

Adding 7,060,130 seconds to midnight on 1-Jan results in Tuesday, March 23 6:08:50 PM EDT, factoring in the one-hour jump ahead for DST on 14-March
The final session is currently scheduled for 6:00 PM CDT on Saturday, March 20, according the the pre-champs manual.
If you are following Richb-3's logic, factor the 1-hr difference between time zones, account for the 3,600 seconds due to DST, and assume the first bout starts 8min into the broadcast... the correct number in the auto-signature should be:
6,804,480
78 days, 17 hours, 8 minutes into the new year (less the bonus hour for DST)

I'm thinking of changing it to the newest Covid-19 numbers for Virginia. At the rate we're going, that number will soon be larger.
7,060,347

Navy won 13 of 21 bouts, "team score" 44-28 in extra bouts.
Ya know we're bored, starved for wrestling when ya total that up.
