Posted classy farewell to OSU on X, wishing Smith happy retirement and best to DT. So what's his next move? Columbia? Pthhh. Hofstra? Nah.
How about we bring him to LVWC as one year rental. Can see what coaching carousel has for him next Spring.

Re: Coleman Scott
Pretty good idea in my mind.
Injecting some John Smith ideas into our program can only further lead us back to the “Promise Land”.
I think Pat has a good relationship & mutual respect with Smith.

So now we’re not only thinking (unrealistically) about signing guys like Alirez simply because he hits the portal — we’re extending that to out of work assistant coaches? Yeah, that’s bizarre.
Coleman Scott left a terrible recruiting class when he left Carolina. Only Koll Magic has turned lemons into lemonade.

Particularly if it is for the RTC. If we bring Coleman in, do we get rid of Kerry?FloridaGuy wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 12:25 pm >>>>>>>I’d rather utilize the funding to attracting elite wrestlers than add additional coaches.

Poster’Asa Packer’ suggested hiring Coleman Scott——— if there are funds liable for another coach—-I’d rather target elite wrestlers.
As for overall funding——-Prioritize spending to attract/retain elite wrestlers rather than post grads via LVWC.
