I don't know what he did in the ~8 month off season, but i did not see any significant wins at Pottsville. No victories over a state qualifier (maybe 1 against an AA wrestler who did not place at states. Pottsville is a AAA school with almost all AA opponents. Schuylkill County League may now be all AA except Pottsville- maybe 1-2 other AAA.

Still Would rather he matriculate to us than not.

And I do not like that if you choose to no longer pay tuition and return to your natural public school. The two near Harrisburg catholic schools regularly do this with no consequences

Kunstek has several quality wins....or he wouldn't be ranked #43. Let's not walk back how good this guy is. The video I watched of him was impressive in that he was a physical guy with a motor. A good combination.
This past year was unfortunate for him.

His decommittment is a gut punch.

You know, it may be as simple as Hunter Meys signing. Kunstek may have been shooting for 165 and didn't want to cut to 157 if he couldn't land the spot. Perhaps he felt LU recruited over him? Not true, but he's 17 years old.

We're wishing Manzana Bryant, why not do the same for Kunstek?
