Even though Garrett lost two matches to Arujau, they were one of the most fast paced, action packed matches contested yesterday.
Nothing boring about that. ;)

Vito's terrific. Could he have overtaken Yanni?

>>>>>>>>> Absolutely yes. Guys are figuring out Yianni and his strength is not a difference maker whereas Vito’s speed can’t be figured out and he has explosive strength due to that speed. Yianni doesn’t have explosive strength. He has unusually long reach and technique.

Both, along with Dake, could be on the Olympic team. Wouldn’t that be something to have 3 guys from Cornell? No guys from Okla State.

Three former Penn State Nittany Lion Wrestling stars and three Nittany Lion Wrestling Club members earned spots on the 2023 World Championship team after victories at Final X Saturday. Now that's something.

I was being facetious, he has definitely passed Yianni, and Vito's game much better suited for freestyle....

Yet Yanni owns a silver medal from last year's Senior Worlds and Vito has yet to pocket any hardware from that event. Maybe we should wait a few months before issuing high confidence level verdicts, notwithstanding recent results.

Vito has leveled up and in a style that is perfect for freestyle and has the natural quickness, gas tank etc...

Yianni needs to figure out a way to up his game, he's more of a technical wrestler and it seems a few at the top level have figured him out.....

They are both great wrestlers, world class, but Vito in my opinion has clearly passed Yianni in future result potential.....but in the end only time will tell.......
