Casale hangs on for a 13-12 win and is in semi's.

Morlacci has a good first period, then fades and loses to Haines. Looked better than last time, though.

Bailey with a fairly easy win against another noticeably bigger kid and on to the semi's. Don't know whether he's wrestling up a weight class for some reason or that his opponents have been monsters for the weight class. Reminds me of some of Seymour's bouts this season against much bigger kids but maybe even more exaggerated.

I havent seen any of it but surprised the kid from WV looked that much bigger than him..... he won a state championship at 113 two months ago

Wins by major again in semis and on to finals against Nico Provo, the Cornell recruit from CT....Provo was a Cadet Pan Am games gold medalist in 2019

I think Michael Dolan won the state championship at 113# in 2020. He won at 126# 2 months ago.

Even with the correction on recent weight, there was no doubt watching the video: "Holy cow, that kid's way bigger than Carter!!" (this is a favored LU fan skill - to automatically concede size, maybe somehow connected to 'small school' Lehigh).
Halfway into the bout it was obvious Carter was quicker -- AND stronger -- than the taller WV guy -- especially after a tight-waist tilt for two. Unless a rival is a bull and skilled with it, I'll take quicker, stronger any time

Agree, we’ll see how his strength and quickness will work against a true D1 recruit like Provo in finals.... not a “preferred walk on”....but i do like some of the older videos i’ve seen of him

Will be an interesting gauge for both of them, Provo’s prep school didnt wrestle this year either....

Not sure if this belongs in this thread (wishful thinking) but Rune Lawrence is in the finals of the NHSCA Nationals (Freshman Div) with 3 pins, 2 in the 1st period.
