Looks like Carter Bailey wrestled back to third after losing to the eventual runner up Samuel Cartella from Ohio (Western Reserve Academy, sound familiar?) 1-0 in the quaterfinals.. Cartella majored his opponent in semi’s and then lost in finals....

Tons of video online for this kid - both on YouTube and on Flo. Looks like a good recruit. Lehigh is a long way from home for him.

Ranked #15, he's in the same bracket as Cornell #14 recruit Nico Provo, although they wouldn't meet until the finals.

Bailey would meet #20 Joplin in the semi-finals.

Further research informs me that as a junior, Liardi lost in the 120# New York State final 7-2 to Greg Diakomihalis (sp?)

Looked a weight class smaller than his opponent. Good technique.
