Future Nationals?
Future Nationals?
NCAA is set for Detroit in March 2022.
Does anyone know the next four locations, and years? I got the impression the dates were still open, like maybe moving to the spring? Tulsa, KC, Philly, XXX?

Re: Future Nationals?
This list reads like the who's who of BLM 2020 riots...not an interesting location in the bunch.
Re: Future Nationals?
Maybe you missed that Derek Chauvin was convicted of murder. BLM demonstrations were proven justified. The rioters were the police and the proud boys attacking BLM.
Re: Future Nationals?
Nothing beats Detroit, Cleveland, Tulsa and Kansas City in March.
Philly will be packed again.

Re: Future Nationals?
No, powers that be when gaming was being discussed in Lehigh Valley pitted Allentown v. Bethlehem. Bethlehem got the casino. The consolation prize politically was to put Arena in Allentown along Allentown Lehigh River waterfront.
Now imagine, if a public private partnership could have been struck with Shel Adelson and Sands at that time. Build the Sands Lehigh Valley Arena in south Bethlehem at 20,000 seat size to meet NCAA eligibility for a host of sports for regional or national championships. Lehigh and Lafayette with partial tenancy to bring in big time basketball programs into the Lehigh Valley. Missed the one and only opportunity. Instead, they built the 30th plus arena in nation at 8000 seats (commodity product) that cannot meet minimum NCAA requirements for hosting regional or NCAA events.
Typical parochial PA and its 2500 fiefdoms, especially Lehigh Valley with its 63 competing municipalities.
