Re: Karam
And today is my birthday along with Joe Namath.
Re: Karam
Sage Karam had stopped wrestling late in his senior year. But he came back out to help Nazareth win state duals
Re: Karam
Sage was actually one of Nazareth's best wrestlers in Middle School. Then he discovered racing (quarter midget I believe). Apparently, it all worked out for him.
Re: Karam
Aren't there like 4 generations of Andretti in motor sports, I assume you mean Mario.
Re: Karam
There are 3 generations that I know of. Mario is the patriarch. His son Michael who may be the more likely influence on Sage and Michael's son Marco. Michael has a brother Jeff who raced on the CART circuit and a cousin John who was a driver.
Mario still lives in Nazareth. Michael and Marco fairly recently moved away I think to Indianapolis.
Re: Karam
Sage can be seen still as an assistant wrestling coach to his father Jody Karam. Sage put together a very nice ride in an underfunded team at Indy this year. Roger Penske is doing nice things for that track now that he is owner.
WVU should be a good fit for Luke Karam. Fun place Morgantown.
