Interesting development for sure

Sounds like some hesitancy on season ticket holders might be driving this.

Or maybe somebody in the ticket office had an idea. MLB teams have been selling partial season packages for years.mh1 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 5:37 pm Interesting development for sure

The price for these three matches is $36, compared to three Lehigh matches for $60.
Re: 2021-22 TENTATIVE LU SCHEDULE
Lehigh has been selling mini plans for at least the last 5 years. Perfect when there are too many Friday night matches for season tickets to make sense.NothingMeaningful wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 8:14 pmPrinceton also selling a mini-packagen for NC State/ASU/Cornell: https://tickets.princeton.edu/athletics ... 287CD31C9Djdalu75 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 6:47 pmOr maybe somebody in the ticket office had an idea. Mini plans in football for years. Good for me As I rarely can make a game prior to Indigenous Peoples Day.

.... So it's interesting that they've been doing it for 5 yrs ?. The truth is that Lehigh Wrestling has never sold more more season tix than 38% of a facility. 2200 of 5800 in Stabler the 1st few yrs it opened in 1980.
In the frenzied '60's in Grace they sold no more than 700-800 season deals, in a legal capacity of 2,775 (SOP in '60's was avg tot att of 3,500 or more). The difference in Grace was ALWAYS walk-up, students, profs or alumni. Students took the lion's share.
Once L-T opened, they knew the students weren't too interested (proven), so for 4-5 yrs they'd sell out (1,800+) with single dual sales, after season tix around 700 ...while leaving space open for students (100 to 600 depending on how big the dual; the record was 880 students for the sell-out in 2005 for Okla St

Re: 2021-22 TENTATIVE LU SCHEDULE
They do when they cannot sell full season tickets. I have a home on Lake Skaneateles. I bought Syracuse football season tickets for something to do when I am up there. I haven't gone to any because of asinine COVID policies. After 50+ year career in medicine, I have never seen such utter nonsense from the CDC. Yes, The Dome is only about half full for games.jdalu75 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 6:47 pmOr maybe somebody in the ticket office had an idea.
