Caden looked solid in the win over Grewe - quick, with lots of spin-arounds. Looks like Zach is in his corner, which should help.

tells me 16 JRS missed weight in Fargo today. Is that accurate? If so that's bananas.

Brackets show one forfeit at 152 in the main bracket, and about eight forfeits in the consolation bracket across all weights.

So Caden Rogers wrestles Quayin Short, Wyoming recruit from MN in the next round.

Unless I'm missing something (good chance), in the world of subjectivity Caden is listed as the #28 recruit in his class. He is also shown as ranked #9 in his weight class. He wrestles Short who is shown as the #1 seed but is apparently not ranked. But then again, how does this matchup occur in the round of 16. There are 7 ranked wrestlers at 195 in Fargo.

NothingMeaningful.....I'm seeing 5 forfeits in the 106 main bracket alone?? I'm not going to bother going thru all the weights..... Sometimes you define nothing meaningful.......

Rodgers wins 8-0 against Short......Wyatt Voelker from Iowa next:

Wyatt Voelker of West Delaware was named the class 2A Dan Gable wrestler of the year, as he was selected over fellow finalists Hayden Taylor of Solon and Carter Fousek of Crestwood who both won their third state title in last month’s state tournament. The Hawk junior was dominant in claiming his first state title at 195 pounds, going undefeated, and 39 of his wins were bonus victories including all of the matches in his state title run.

And sometimes people make mistakes, too. Sorry I don't live up to your lofty expectations.

I'm not seeing the brackets so can anyone tell me who are the other 3 wrestlers in the SF at 195#. Could we be seeing a Rogers/Rogers final in which case I'll go out on the limb and predict that Rogers will win.

Observation: Is 195# becoming the new 220#. First there was talk of longtime 220# Casale going down. Then Crewe, the kid from Wisconsin dropped down. I just noticed that former Casale nemesis Kolby Franklin from Wyoming Seminary is there too.

Rogers v Fishback
Shumate v Franklin
Per the rankings
#9 vs #8
#5 vs #12

#2 ranked Rylan Rogers from Blair I take it lost
