Re: EIWA Acceptance Rates
That's a big jump for LU. Last year I think it was around 26%.
Re: EIWA Acceptance Rates
Bucknell?
Re: EIWA Acceptance Rates
There has been a steady increase in applicants (bout 4%-7%) each year at Lehigh (at least pre-covid). The jump in the acceptance rate is the desired 20% increase in enrollment from 5,000 to 6,000 under the Path to Prominence.
Re: EIWA Acceptance Rates
That IS a good question, BP ... whatsupwid Bucknell?

The league Lehigh competes in has mostly small numbers of undergrads compared to the enormous state schools that reside in Power 5 conferences. Hard to imagine any kind of sustained success when thinking in those terms. Being a top 15 team is really an outstanding accomplishment for a school with an undergrad population of 5,000 with relatively difficult admissions and no access to $6,000 per year allowable stipends.
Re: EIWA Acceptance Rates
Bucknell is 34.2%
Which leads me to strongly suggests there are 3 groups, not two.
LU-Laf-Buck do not belong in the one "other" tier"

Re: EIWA Acceptance Rates
Obvious: Bucknell doesn't accept anybody.
IMO splitting the schools into two groups is completely arbitrary -- witness the 23.5% difference between Binghamton and Sacred Heart, which are both in the second group. I could just as easily come up with "extremely exclusive" (less than 10%); "very exclusive" (> 10, < 20); and several others.
