That would mean Lehigh could wear those Gold singlets again. That would be cool, I know everyone loved them so much.jdalu75 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 24, 2021 7:54 amGoofiest nickname is Kent State's Golden Flashes. Re: Football looked good
So I tuned in the Bucknell video late in the 1st half and - boom! - a perfectly executed inside screen pass for 43 yds to set up a 14-3 lead over The Bison. DePietro out-ran a close defender at line of scrimmage (aided by block) then made an incredible cut downfield, as my dad used to say: "JUST like he knew what he was doing!"
now they have to pray for 3rd quarter defense.

the board? Kevin Clayton picked the previous President and had a heavy hand in this one. Gives a ton to the school but seems to be infected with all the woke nonsense so prevalent today. Too bad.

Nothing wrong with that. Methinks the term is grossly misused by conservatives.
Personally I refer the MLK path vs the "woke" CRT path for America.

Second goofiest is Delaware's Fighting Blue Hens. What do they call the women's teams, the Lady Hens? Er ....

Re: Football looked good
Look at Lehigh's roster and compare it to some of our opponents. I wouldn't be surprised if we're two years younger, on average, than some of the teams we've played. Bucknell doesn't redshirt and, judging from what I've seen with their wrestling roster, last year counted for them. So it makes sense that Bucknell is a team that's as disadvantaged as ours, and is one we could beat.

After the victory today, the 97 (it looked like about 92 today) Played the Centennial Song. Normal if the full band is there, win, lose, or draw(past only).
But what was different is the cheerleaders stood, at attention. And the players, in the midst of celebrating did the same thing.
Probably means nothing, as in Goodman, the locker rooms are the opposite way from the bands seating, but I would like to think Pre Heible has decided to discard the crap alma mater, and replace it with an original, far better tune.

Hat’s off to coach Gilmore with a resounding victory over Bucknell & Checchini. Impressive turnaround the last 2 weeks.,
