Historically old news, pretty sure there is already a thread on this dated 8/3

Spladle, you expect me to remember back that far?
Re: LU to be in National Duals
Hopefully we do not get into a pool with anyone already on the dual schedule like Oregon State or Arizona State -- EIWA opponents not in the initial draw. If that happens, that leaves Iowa, Michigan, NC State, Missouri, VA Tech, Northern Iowa, and Central Michigan.....7 teams -- should mean LU will see 1-2 in their pool. No doubt they will separate the top teams. Expect Iowa, Michigan, VA Tech and NC State in different pools. LU could emerge if they don't draw Iowa.
Re: LU to be in National Duals
Presumably (PSU replacing Mich and get 2nd seed), We will be in the pool With Iowa or NCS. If NCS we will not be in the pool with Va Tech)
If NCS pool likely Mo.
If Iowa likely CMU.
--------------
Have been suggesting for years national Duals be 4 duals for all teams (although I suggest 16 teams. 2 duals (for 4 teams) is too few. 6 duals (for 2 teams) is too many.

Re: LU to be in National Duals
Michigan is not in this tournament, they have been replaced by PSU.
My guess is they get slotted with NC State and Northern Iowa

Re: LU to be in National Duals
Do we know if this is a national championship event (not specifically NCAA- likely NWCA) as in leads to a winner or is it just a series of requested duals?
Re: LU to be in National Duals
I was wondering the same thing last night. There's no mention of this event on the NWCA site; or on the Journeymen site, for that matter. The only notice I've found (other than team schedules) is the 8/3/21 post on Intermat.
