Well, the topic is "Starting Lineup" so here are some guesses:

125: Lane
133: Paetzell, unless he is unable to compete and/or make the weight; then Hines.
141: Winner of Hines/McGonagle wrestle-off, unless Paetzell moves up. Don't rule out Drew Munch.
149: Hoffman as long as he stays healthy. Then Manzona Bryant IV, who hereafter I will be referring to as MB4.
157: Humphreys, if he's healthy. Otherwise the winner of a Frinzi/Meyer/MB4 wrestle-off.
165: Winner of Lawrence/Meyer wrestle-off.
174: Logan
184: Wide open. Could be JT Davis, Wright, Burkhart (that's what my source tells me), Herceg, or Wilt. My best guess is that Davis and Wright will see the bulk of the action.
197: 1st semester: it's between the two Elis and whoever doesn't win out at 184. 2nd semester: Garcia so long as his FB injury doesn't carry over into January; he doesn't appear to be playing today.
285: Wood

I see without playing the last couple games and only running a handful of times earlier- Garcia is still 3rd in rushing and only 11 yards out of first.

Bring back Brown-White actually meaning something for 1st dual meet starting lineup,.

125 Lane R12
133 Paetzell R12
141 Hines Top 20
149 Hoffman Top 33
157 Humphreys Top 5
165 Lawrence Top 50
174 Logan Top 33
184 Wright Top 100
197 Garcia Top 70. No injury and pinning ability, could easily be in Top 33 by EIWA.
285 Wood Top 20. I do not see him beating any of the Top 10. 11-20 is also packed with some very good heavys.

Humphrey projects as Lehigh only All American, Recruiting hole to still be filled is 184. It has to be a varsity ready guy come next Fall. Anyone at LVWC at upper middleweights 157-174 to elevate these guys in simulating Top NCAA talent? Lowerweights from 157 and down will be exciting. Ability to score points, falls.

Lunch pail team with a ton of question marks. We'll see how it all plays out.

Your lunch pail team has 2 other legitimate All American candidates in Lane & Paetzel.

Lawrence/Logan/Hines all bring outstanding HS credentials & agree that development depends on quality of LVWC workout partners.

Welcome back Kerry McCoy & good decision by LVWC leadership group!!!

Here, here!

I think people tend to forget that Jordan is the first 4-time HWT champion in EIWA history. That he would have A/A'd as a r/s freshman had he not torn a thumb ligament. That he wasn't supposed to get past Amar Dhesi to get into the NCAA consolation finals as a r/s soph. That with the uncertainty of getting back into the lineup and all the Covid shutdowns (remember too, he lost Zach as a workout partner for two weeks in the spring semester) that he was nowhere near the condition that some others were for the post-season.

This time around he's closer to 275 than to 250, and he'll be tag-teamed in practice by Rey and Kerry McCoy. Don't bet the mortgage money that he'll finish R-12 in his last go-round.

FWIW, the weight certs are up on Track. My thought was that wrestlers typically cert one weight class above their expected season class. Looks like Lehigh certs up two classes? Just listing the familiar names from above:

125: (not surprisingly) nobody
133: Seymour, Bailey
141: Lane (meaning he's over 133)
149: Hines, Moran, McGonagle
157: Munch
165: Hoffman, Humphreys
174: Meyer, Frinzi, Lawrence
184: Burkhart, Logan, Herceg
197: Wilt
285: "Large" group of nine

Note that Bryant, Gage, Grape, and Paetzell are not currently cert'd.

For contrast, Cornell has Greg D. and Vito at 133, Yianni and Saunders at 149.
