Local reporter just tweeted the probable lineup (which could change, of course) which specifies Ybarra. And no Kemerererer.

Re: EIWA
Glory rode Spencer like a rented mule in their dual two years ago. Lee still teched him but holding him out does not surprise me one bit. He has no knees.
Great wrestler, great kid but he's going to be seriously challenged to win his 4th.

Re: EIWA
I get them not wrestling him with his injury history, it is a long season, but at some point don't you have to take away his ranking spot if he doesn't wrestle? Move Glory to 1 and drop Lee to two? I realize it's a tough call, is a guy injured/is he not, is he ducking and so on.....but it's not good for the popularity of the sport long term if guys are ducking the best matches all the time during the dual season....and it has become a plague on the sport in recent years......

Imagine if he ducks Glory this weekend, and Iowa meets Cornell in Florida and he ducks Arujau...Spladle1989 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:57 pm I get them not wrestling him with his injury history, it is a long season, but at some point don't you have to take away his ranking spot if he doesn't wrestle? Re: EIWA
I would be more surprised seeing Arajau at 125 than Spencer ducking him….. sadly the way it is right now
Re: EIWA
I'm interested in how Lane fares against Glory & Vito. He racks and stacks a lot of average wrestlers.

Re: EIWA
I gotta believe Vito is a 133 this year, unless they really feel Greg D is only going to be an average 125 due to his size…. I think Greg D will be very good, not national champion good but 2 time all-american good…..i just don’t think he’s a big enough 125, he’s like Darian Cruz without the crazy athleticism….but he will be good….
Interesting that Glory and Lane have never wrestled at least not in college……the top 125’s seem to get to Lane’s legs quickly, finish quickly and then ride him hard, choose neutral when have option and have the smarts and ability to bail out on shots they don’t lock up quickly….poorly executed shots, half shots to tieups and so on are where Jaret gets real dangerous….

FWIW, wrestlestat doesn't think he'll do well: https://www.wrestlestat.com/compare/wre ... lane-jaret
