Off the Cornell wrestling web site:

The headline reads:

“Lehigh Tops Wrestling in Nailbiter In Renewal of EIWA's Top Rivalry”

There was no mention about the coaches attire on the official site. - Missed opportunity - but then probably not appropriate to rub more salt in the wounds.
The bus ride back to the snow belt was, no doubt, a somber experience.

Seemed like Gwiz was doing most of the complaining. Maybe he just stood out more.

Actually after rewatching Burkhart match Loew cut him in the middle of the mat with around 29 seconds left.... still too late in my opinion but not as bad.... they went out of bounds by Lehigh bench with 17 seconds left

Just to clear up some speculation. McGonagle's absence on Friday was due to illness. Connor said he was not missing Cornell (thankfully :-))

My dear whiz wit... I do think you know who charliemunger is, over on the Cornell forum.

IF not... here's a hint. ;)
His forum posting name rhymes w/ Soupy Sales lion sidekick (the most hippest character on that show. :P )

Hmmm... he's lurking around here.

(Though, another name has re-appeared from an assortment of nom de guerre he has posted before,
just recently. :P )

Hats off to Logan & McGonigle for Saturday performance but Burkhardt gets my accolades for his grit.
Got to agree. Burkhart is right up near the top in fighting spirit/will to win among the starters. He wrestled great this weekend. And, it is pretty unusual that a guy who was at 149 his Freshman year is now the starter at 184. How many people grow that much in college?

You have a good memory D3. I remember the names of those characters from Saturday morning, but not that the character was a lion.
