He managed to make 184 two years ago, although that didn't work out well. Very, very tall, sure. He injured his back at the end of his freshman season. Maybe that's been acting up.

I'm not sure how you describe funk but I always thought that if I looked it up there would be a picture of the Sloand brothers. :-)
The leg passes, both grabbing each others legs and facing opposite directions typically.

I hope Wood hasn't been reported for animal cruelty.

I don't usually like to second guess Pat Santoro. But he used the wrong guy at 149. If he had used Brock Herring, that would have been 5 different guys in 5 straight bouts at the weight, from 4 different state. (OK Brock has not wrestled a bout yet this season, not even the Scuffle

>>>To add to drd comment on stalling. If the refs don’t want to pick one vs the other then there should be an automatic stall warning to both wrestlers for a 0-0 first period.
>>>This would then become meaningful at the end of a close bout where the wrestler with the lead would be unable to do his normal last 30 second backup routine in the 3rd period

... An important point the Rules Committee has never figured out. Will never forget the day at Midlands when Donna Strobel and I were agreeing about stall issues and the ref sitting in front of us turned his head and said: "Well, what do you do when BOTH are stalling??" Donna & I did a double take and simultaneously hit him with: "DOUBLE STALLING!" For at least one minute we thought we were the coolest people in McGaw
