This guy reminded me of Josh Humphreys on top as he was punishing. He appears to be a real deal & stunned McGonagle who I wish would take a lesson from Josh on top wrestling.

.... Am sure he gets quite a few 'lessons' ... :) Despite their adj weights it often seems to me that Josh is 2 wts bigger than Connor.

He was brutal on top. For that matter, most of the Columbia team was. You can say Lehigh came out flat, but I was very impressed by Columbia.

Taking a lesson from Josh has nothing to do with him being 2 weights larger. Josh is an accomplished Top wrestler whose talents & technique should be utilized to train all of our wrestlers in the technique as we have several wrestlers that show minimal skills from the top position IMO.

Hanging on to your opponent & letting them stand up vs breaking them down & throwing in legs is the predominant style on the team unfortunately.

... Thanks for flatly stating that. LU fans have too often displayed condescension toward 'lesser' schools - like the post in Nov that suggested losing to a Southern Conf school was no way to start a season. The last two seasons we've always been vulnerable vs. Top 25-30 teams - especially if we don't bring our A game. I love our team whether we do or don't but a B effort would be stiffly challenged down the wire by all 4 East rivals, ranked or not.
