Everybody knows about their use of academy prep schools in recent decades to improve recruiting in football and eventually other sports like wrestling. Navy used to be ahead of Army's curve in this regard - and both football programs tend to be miles ahead of other sports within the Patriot League.
So be it; whatever the academies can do in wrestling is a boost to the EIWA.

Not too late for you, Gimp and bosom buddy JDA to go back to school and get acquainted with the English language.
I scored the modern equivalent of 700+ twice on my Verbal SATs. I also qualified for crossword puzzle nationals. And I scored in the top few percent in the Miller Analogies Test. I'll take my abilities here. You said what you said. It's clear.

I skipped school the day they gave the Miller Analogy Test.

Crossword Puzzle Nationals! Oh My God. Move over Plato and Artistotle!

Yeah, my credentials can't compare with yours. But I did practice law and spent a good amount of time on statutory and contract construction and have had several of my winning cases before the N.J. Supreme
Court and federal courts reported in the books. So I think I have some familiarity with the English language.

Spade succinctly laid out your distorted interpretation of my posting. Actually, I didn't write that anyone had received preferential treatment. Just mused as to whether that was a possibility. And I certainly didn't mention numbers so as to give cause for your blanket statement.

It's unfortunate that you have this uncontrollable urge to regularly demonstrate your superiority. But I think health insurance plans cover mental illness these days.

I only said I was happy with mine. Said nothing about yours. And there was no reason to muse unless you thought it was the case. You said I needed to go back to school to acquaint myself with the language. I'm happy with my knowledge of the language.

The board continues to pile up reasons to stay anonymous.

... lol ... you be right:

INNUENDO: noun
an allusive or oblique remark or hint, typically a suggestive or disparaging one.

And now you at least admit that you've just "lawyered up" ... that's actually quite hilarious

As we've well established via our anonymity this certainly isn't a court of law

Gimp's Griffin was smarter than Whiz Whit's Griffin, so Gimp wins.

Haven't thought about him in a while. Took a few minutes to remember his name.

Dale Newbury was very close friends with my brother Pete (also a Gryphon) -- they both studied MetE

Metallurgists everywhere! Where will it end?

By coincidence, I watched the movie Highlander a few days ago for the first time (it was awful). Best part was that Sean Connery's character (dressed like Little Lord Fauntleroy) was the chief metallurgist to the King of Spain.
