Also on his twitter account. Sorry to hear it, but I understand his reasoning. Good luck to him in his post-wrestling and -college endeavors!

Not a great surprise as I would guess that the weight cut was a really heavy lift & Hynes & Crookham to overcome was not a given.

Theee comes a time to move on with your life. I think everyone understands his decision.

Great student, he was in one of my classes. Very personable and consciencious. He'll do well.

He had Glory on the ropes that's for sure. Can't help but be disappointed that he's hung them up.

One wrestler who you could never question his effort or intensity. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors, he will be missed.

The match at Princeton was very memorable , oh so close it hurt! The other match I remember fondly of BP was up at Cornell a couple of years ago. Was my first trip Ithaca and I remember Brandon just pacing back and forth on the mat for what seemed like 15 minutes while they worked out how to turn the heat up to 120 degrees. Was like watching the proverbial caged lion. He set the tone with a close victory over LaJoi on our way to a great road win!

Sorry he won’t be wrestling this year, but wishing him all the best. By all accounts, a great kid!
