2023 Schedule

Post by mh1 » Wed Jul 06, 2022 8:06 pm

Until Denny gets the Ok to release the upcoming schedule we can begin to see bits and pieces. So started this thread for any tidbits folks might see:

He’s gone from the forum. Perhaps you hadn’t heard. He’ll never be heard from again here. Ever.

IMO, easing into the season is the right way to go. Both Iowa and Iowa State routinely schedule cupcakes to start things off. Several others do as well. With our recent injury status it might be better to build confidence, especially first time down to weight.

Glad to see us meeting Sacred Heart. We should see all EIWA opponents within a 4-5 year period (one recruiting cycle.)

That’s just so bizarre that Lehigh releases their wrestling schedule through DRD. Seriously what kind of a Mom and Pop operation are they running?

mookie: I don't think LU Athletics does release the schedule thru Denny/LUWN......but he gets it simultanesouly so he can provide it to his faithful newsletter followers. Same with recruiting news -- although I believe Denny typically scoops them on that front.

One can usually find whatever Denny has on the LU wrestling page....he just adds more detail and flavor. Recommended subscription. Well worth the money.

**** Agree with Oracle. LMatnews is definitely with the $. It is nice to receive updates in my email, which I routinely refer to all through the wrestling season and beyond.

Becahi, Nazareth, Blair, Malvern, Wyoming Sem, along with probably 10 others would all beat Sacred Heart.
