The Beavers
their Orange/Black results:
125 - Brandon Kaylor (Orange) decision over Caleb Coyle (Black), 3-0
133 – Jason Shaner (Black) technical fall over Gabe Whisenhunt (Orange), 6-0
141 – Cleveland Belton (Orange) decision over Nathan Aguilar (Black), 10-5
149 –Noah Tolentino (Orange) decision over Hunter Eveland (Black), 6-4
157 – Isaiah Crosby (Black) major decision over Graham Gambrall (Orange), 13-5
165 – Matthew Olguin (Orange) injury decision over Chris Hamblin (Black), :17
184 – Mateo Olmos (Orange) decision over Mason Christiansen (Black), 12-5
197 - Tanner Harvey (Black) major decision over Ryan Reyes (Orange), 17-6
285 – J.J. Dixon (Black) sudden victory over Charles Hastriter (Orange), 3-1
125: Lane beat Kaylor 9-5 last yr
133: Shaner beat Hines 10-8 last yr
141: Hines v Belton, not OSU's strongest weight
149: Brignola/Munch ? v ? (Lara listed as wrestlestat starter)
157: Humphreys v Crosby
165: Meyer v Olguin (met 3x last yr, all 2pt decs...Meyer went 2-1)
174: Logan ? v ? (perhaps Olmos...if so, Logan lbdec 4-1 last yr)
184: Samuelson v Munoz? (Munoz owns two 3-2 decs over Samuelson last yr)
197: Beard v Harvey (yes, that Tanner harvey)
285: Jones/Taylor v former 197 Dixon
Great unknowns in the lineups but based on above v OSU's strongest combo MH sees LU with an advantage in 4 (w some potential for bonus in a couple), OSU with an advantage in 2, and 4 that look close enough to go into the tossup category:
Final prediction: LU 24-9

Re: The Beavers
I sure hope we win, but 24-9? Kaylor ended up an AA last year and our guy did not finish the year. That's no gimme for LU this time around, if Lane is the starter. In fact, I'd say, OSU is favored at 125. You may be right, but it looks more like a 6-4 split with the Beavers remembering their spanking at home last year.
Re: The Beavers
Beaver spanking?
Re: The Beavers
Did you mean monkey spanking?

Re: The Beavers
Oracle correctly caught you overconfident on 125
Kaylor outwrestled Jaret -- for 6+ min. From LUWN archives:
125: An interesting match-up; both were HS Fargo national 1st, both Top 3 in their conf. Kaylor seemed to have Jaret well-scouted – at least until the end. The Beaver kept shooting early with low singles and led, 4-2, on two 1st period TDs. He had riding time after a Lane escape in the 2nd.
3rd pd- Jared rode long enough to wipe out r. time, but an escape left OSU ahead, 5-3, with Lane unable to attack on his feet; in fact, warned for stalling late. But Kaylor persisted and made a loosey, goose shot which Jaret gratefully converted into a counter TD and 4-pt NF; a little salsa, a little Schalles. Game over, 9-5.
