Next week he gets to face Gage every day.
Are you quite certain that football will not be receiving an at-large bid to the playoffs?

Tonight’s match with Pitt was worse than our football team this afternoon.

Certainly stand by the lack of effective strength coach at 165-174 & now add 184 to that concern.

Hope Garcia emerges as our heavyweight.

Hat’s off to McGonagle.

Wow ... et tu' Brute? Against a very low ranked Pard team we scored nine points from scrimmage; 3 pts in the 1st three quarters.

I recall this Forum frying the team for its 'pathetic' loss to a Southern Conf program last Nov. The next day we were all surprised to beat Oregon St, which finished NCAA 12th with 4 A/As. Ok, I get that our 'next day' now is PSU.

too old to participate in these TAKE-DOWN tournaments, I shoot,..you counter, etc.

I'm prideful of the Lehigh WRESTLING Legacy, and am prone to referencing it often. My gas tank is also suspect, thus I hesitate to go over-board in analytics. Nowadays I just sit-back and take each match at face-value, it's ENTERTAINMENT value,..no more, no less. Having been there/done that as a competitor, I assume each kid is doing his best not to embarrass himself nor the legacy his LEHIGH singlet represents. Win OR lose I applaud that kid! :D

BTW,..as much as I enjoy the banter,..WHY the incessant "rag" on Denny by some of you? :? The only fault I find in his discourse is the tendency to hold some of the INSIDE-STUFF close to-the-vest such as injury, in-eligibility, etc.,..which is his prerogative. Regardless, appreciate his input,.. as I do from ALL of you. :)

Yada=yada yada The World According to Spladle

>>>What of all of that really matters Denny?
>>>Different teams , different expectations and no I don’t really care how the other team feels….why exactly should I? Wrestling is at heart an individual sport but McGonagle, Humphreys, Brignola and Reinsel, all of course would never say it or admit it but I’m sure are thinking … what the hell?
>>>Last year, 5 years ago, back in 1975 do not matter…. This team, this time, now…. Was a major egg laying no matter how you try to gloss it……

So an all-time great dual can't even go back ONE STINKIN' DUAL?
WHAT'S THE POINT OF CALLING IT A RIVALRY?????

Everybody incl me knows the 2nd half sucked - get over it and above all, get over me
You make me into more of an albatross than anything I write. find another victim

The back and forth is tedious and uninteresting. Neither side can stand the other having the last word. It's an interesting dynamic....still, in the end it's boring, especially since both sides root for the same team. You wouldn't know it.

Is it possible to let a post slide, just once? How about it?

You're right, O - and it's even more tiring for me with the flu, as you can imagine. Working for the sport since age 24 but falling short of some anonymous guy's opinion of me is just, well, lucky for me there are no tall bridges to jump from. Wait, there are the I-55 overpasses!

Translation:
I’ll take the high ground because honestly who could question my last word on any subject considering how long Ive been around the sport. For the one millionth time, the board should not be anonymous (but it is) and I’m deeply affected by anonymous critique of me or anything about the team. (And now the big finish)….. it makes me want to jump off a bridge.(!!!!)

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ……….
