Rankings-125

Post by BP-LU87 » Wed Nov 16, 2022 12:37 pm

Bailey is now ranked by Intermat (#16) and Flo (#24). Think they had Lane ranked earlier this year. Reading into this a little bit (assume coaches provided some intel for ranking) that Bailey will be starting for the foreseeable future. Cone of silence on Lane so that’s the guess.

so far nobody has gotten rich betting on Lane being in the starting lineup. Happy to watch Bailey develop. Getting great experience as well as giving fans their money's worth.

My understanding was that Lane was due to be activated this past weekend. If Bailey can develop a dependable scoring move from neutral, he's going to be trouble for as lot of people. He rode Prata like a rented mule, didn't he?
Maybe my eyes deceive me, but Bailey looks like a good-sized 125. He's winning and the last win was against a ranked veteran so unless he has a poor outing, he may be the starter. His job to lose kind of thing. I've no dog in this fight, but coaches have that discretion.

Lane's ding* is taking longer than he had hoped and am sure he's ticked about it.
Happy to see unanimous support for now for Bailey - and was thinking about starting a baseless rumor that he needed to bulk up. :D  (hopefully enough emojis to get point across)

Hopefully, the "curtain of silence" complaining will stop soon, since all of our opponents have had MIAs and no one told us about it until match day. "It is what it is" and I assume LU fans can take extra pride (after our "disappointing w-off lineup") that we've managed a 3-1 W/L record despite having pre-season injuries in 40% of our weights - with those weights suffering loss of practice partners. Must be a pretty tough team, strength or gas tanks bedamned.

Not complaining about cone of silence…..just stating that there is a cone of silence.

Thought this was an innocuous post that was stating facts and a bit of conjecture without disparaging any institution, coaches, wrestlers, posters, etc.

Love what I’ve seen from Bailey so far and happy he’s getting some ratings love.

“Rode like a rented mule”…. Nominated for best comment of 2022. Love it.

There is always a challenge up at 133. Let the man eat some.
