One thing is for certain, he's on the right forum to take that position. This place is full of excuses....and stats from the 50's!

Quick question for you: What was Austin Gomez doing the prior weekend?

The 4 pointer put Yianni into "go for it" mode which is something to see.....the last scramble that Gomez came away with a leg was a pretty impressive counter. MH has a very very strong feeling that the next meeting will be different. As to your premise that it was not the same Yianni - other than him coming out on the short end of that 4 pointer (for once) I didn't see someone who looked way off their game. Stuff happens....even to him.

Sammy has gotten a lot of mileage out of his game.

The Top 5 at 149 are going to be quite interesting this year.
Gomez is currently on fire.
Everyone will have to up their technique, scouting and condition to be able to go hard at NCAA.

It is going to be a great year of wrestling at quite a number of weights where it seems to be wide open.

Hope all these great wrestlers stay injury free. Already a great start to this season.
