PIAA's decision to say if your parents don't want to, or can't afford to, continue paying tuition from $thousands to $tens of thousands you need to give up a years eligibility is crap.

Room and Board at Blair approached Lehigh's cost, though I'm sure he had assistance.

I have to agree with Richb on this one - it's not like he was transferring to a better program - just wanted to come home.

Strange decision.

I believe Dennis Fenton (former HC at Notre Dame-Green Pond) had a brother (Lawyer) in York, PA area who won a big case against PIAA for not allowing eligibility. I believe the strategy is to bring a lawsuit now equal to the lost scholarship costs of an IVY League education due to impact of not being able to showcase talents of a wrestler in the premier state for wrestling. Threaten to sue for $1 million and file the case before the hearing. Then take it to Commonwealth Court if PIAA rules against you. My understanding is that the PIAA has caved every time once it hits Commonwealth Court.

Wadle (pronounced Way-dle) may be dropping to 106.

Luke Stanich is in the Morris County Finals... he started yesterday with two quick falls.
Luke wbf over Koy of Mountain Lakes in EIGHT SECONDS.
WBF in his second match (QF)over Longo of Montville in 58 seconds.
He went up against a Delbarton wrestler in the SF... no fall but a Major D of 13-4 over Hager ( a senior.)
Luke will meet the 2nd seed Michael Campanaro (a senior... undefeated) of West Morris (Central)

Oh, yeah... one more thing. Campanaro pinned all three of his opponents going into the finals (1:46, 1:59, & 1:01 consecutively.)

Should be a good match ( Luke being favored, of course.)
