Sadriddinov loses in championship to Drexel recruit Queen.
Ziegler takes 3’rd
Gonzalez takes 5’th

Ziegler’s semi-final match against Botero was well wrestled. Out shot Gauge 5-0 in regulation and then unfortunately a controversial penalty call decided the match in overtime.

These three young guys all looked good.

Activity of interest of this week:

Ziegler @ Quakertown Duals (5 matches) 1-21
Stanich @ Mountain Lakes Duals (3 matches) 1-21
Repos & Kunstek @ Coal Cracker Invitational (1-20 and 1-21)

I am somewhat surprised Lehighton HS has a gym big enough to host a 60 team tournament. Last time I was by the HS (maybe 8 years ago) it just looked they had an ordinary small to medium Gym. (typically 100 foot long with maybe 1000 seats) Next Door Jim Thorpe HS has a large gym for the size of the HS.

It's at both the HS and Elementary Ctr first day and Elem Ctr 2nd day.

You have to do what you have to do when it comes to high school tournaments, but as a parent I hated tournaments where they used multiple gyms /schools......unless it was a dual tournament, but even then it wasn't as enjoyable.......puts a lot of stress on the coaches also, especially smaller schools with less or no assistants.....

I was looking for a picture like that, but could not find it. I am guessing, due to the stage it is the Elementary gym. I know of a few schools (Easton, East Penn) that have larger Middle School Gyms, but an Elementary?

I could have seen such spending at Hamburg due to Cabella, and everything associated. But Not from Mount Walmart.

I didn't realize this until tonight- I went up to see Blair - Sem (Blair 32-26 btw). Kunstek's name came up since he transferred out of Blair to go to Pottsville. Not sure if this was brought up here before but apparently he's not eligible for the State series since he transferred after the start of his junior year.
