These prep schools got wise about 20yrs ago that to enhance their college admissions reputations (and therefore that of the school itself) it could be best accomplished with scholarship type athletes getting into Ivy league schools. Delbarton and many others been doing it for years. It went full circle when the athletes realized their best ticket in to the Ivy league would be to get some kind of a ride into the prep school that feeds them.
So Blair made this turn using its already powerhouse wrestling program and Cornell, Princeton, and Penn have benefited greatly. Used to be just PG's at Blair but now many go there multiple years to wrestle. Then, if you're good enough, into the Ivy league you go. Just don't ask about the admission standards to either A)the prep school or B) the Ivy.

Zeigler, Mack, Repos, Gonzalez, Sudraddinov(sp) all got to quarter finals. The latter 2 had challenging bouts, but I thought were clearly better. GG also hasd an easy pigtail.

>>>>>>> Two of the Pa recruits are only juniors and highly rated Kunstek ( also a jr) wasn’t allowed to enter the tournament————-so 3 good future recruits plus a solid class of NJ and Pa guys.

Time will tell if any are whales.

Room for a few more recruits and possible portal guys in the class.
