Biggest surprise, in my view, was AJ Nevills taking out Colton Schultz 5-2 at 285. Not a fluke win -- Nevills wrestled a really great bout and survived a scramble at the end of the 3rd period to score his second TD.
South Dakota State Jack Rabbits in 2nd pace by 1 point going into 2nd day. A marvelous job by Damion Hahn. He has very quietly taken that program back to prominence. Looks like SDSU will have the most place winners with 8.
CKLV Open
Re: CKLV Open
Succession planning is critical. Cornell messed up.
Re: CKLV Open
Lenny Pinto, Nebraska 184 is a powerful guy! Took out Munoz, Ore St and is trailing 2X NCAA 3rd Parker Keckeisen in a great 1st period 5-2. Keckeisen scored off a nice Pinto attack to open things up.

Re: CKLV Open
Northern Iowa and SDSU having nice tournaments, scrapping hard with the big dogs.
Nebraska going to win it, but nice showing by two schools you wouldn’t expect to keep up with the ASU, Ohio State, Cornell, Michigan and NC State’s of the world.

Pinto was a pleasure to see in District 11 while in high school. Has good speed and bit ferocious. Unfortunately, not a good rider which will be a tough transition. On his feet, he can go with anyone.
