TWO teams from every major conference w/NO cross-over matches between pools.

LET'S JUMP INTO THE POOL... :o

Lehigh's chance to advance to the RED-POOL final against Ohio State I assume,.. will hinge on the last three bouts with NCS at 184lbs where Hidlay is the heavy favorite, 197 slight edge to Beard, and at 285 which I'd like to call a toss-up for some reason!

BLUE-POOL favors Penn State against the winner of ISU and Cornell. Big-Red needs a "signature" win against the Cyclones to set-up what could be an exciting closing-volley against the reigning national champs. :o

ROFKIN covering the Duals per a $10 buck monthly scrip., and an additional $10 PPV fee for the Event.

Michael Beard having a gauntlet of a season thus far: Oklahoma State, Tanner Harvey CKLV runner-up, 2X AA Bonaccorsi, 3X AA and defending NCAA champ Dean, then 2X AA Truax and highly ranked Trumble.

Truax will be a formidable obstacle, as will Trumble. Both are tall, rangy and don't back down. Ranking opportunity for sure for Mr. Beard.

So what’s a realistic goal for N’Orlins?

Beat Cal Poly
Close vs NCSt

then what?

Maybe it’s more about individual matchups that help our guys rank up and get better seeds than it is the team scores?

Cal Poly I do not see as a walkover, 165 and 174 will be big, especially if we don’t hold serve in other weights we are closely “favored”…..NC State will be a battle, probably 3 to 4 points either way

Both duals winnable, but our pool does not have a Lockhaven or Central Michigan….. both are also potential losses if we don’t show up ready to go…..

**** Wrestlestat has NC State winning 28-3, with 6 of the 7 toss ups by 1 point each. Only Humphreys to win over Ed Scott. Wrestlestat is only good for getting info on who each team has and who they have wrestled. They rely on an algorithm that has always been highly suspect. Other than their data base for info, they are pretty worthless. Just one man's opinion.

Agree with that, wrestlestat rankings and predictions are a mirage…..28-3 seems unlikely to me but going to be an uphill battle

12/6 Rankings: Lehigh train stuck in-the-station!.:x Will LOCK-UP with three, maybe four of the Teams ranked ahead of us by seasons end. Probably see the Buck-Eyes in pool final by beating the Wolfpack.

Individual and team rankings have been updated on the initial post based on new rankings for both Intermat and Coaches Poll of 12/6/22…..

So Lehigh stayed at #18 in Dual Coaches Poll and moved up from #22 to #21 in Intermat which seems about right, wrestled fairly well against PSU but “good losses” rarely move you up rankings, usually don’t move you down much either…..they can move up in polls considerably with some good wrestling in the big easy however….

By the way who had McGonagle jumping up into the top 10 this season at his new weight?

When you have 3 wrestlers in the top 10 and one of them happens to be at Crookham's weight (assuming his weight is 133) it makes it a lot easier to keep him on redshirt.....McGonagle still has 2 more years of eligibility also if he chooses to use them.......
