True.....I think Cal Poly dual will come down to results at 165 and 174.....we'll win a few we should, they will win a few they should.....maybe an upset here or there......but the big question is the tossup weights at 165 and 174 in the middle of dual....win or lose both of them by either team probably decides dual......but that's of course just a guess......maybe we'll win all 10...

Perhaps Crookham gets a start in NOLA -- who knows? But I would imagine it would be at 133.
Don't get me wrong, I think Connor looks great at 133, but any chance the #8 ranking was a mistake? He was #19 last week and only win was a PSU backup. 11 spots seems like a severe jump for a 6-1 win. Maybe they forgot the "1" in front

Lot of movement up and down in 133 since last posting, both Flo and Intermat have McGonagle at #8.

Win Magazine is an outlier however as they have him ranked at #20, and they only rank to top twenty.

Quality win over Phillipi who then beat 2X AA Bryd was why he jumped up. Only one loss (to Fix) -- #8 not a mistake.

Interesting your handle is "lu90" yet you are questioning a nice ranking for your own guy. Would think you'd be happy about it.

Just a little confusing. With their 11/22 rankings, a few days after beating Phillipi, Intermat/Rokfin moved McGonagle from 22 to 19 and moved Phillipi from 8 to 11. On 11/29, Connor stayed at 19. Now on 12/6, with only one win over PSU backup, he moved 11 spots to 8. Maybe a delayed reaction by the ranking services, but don't get me wrong, I'm extremely impressed with how he looks at 33.

Just checked Flo and he is 8 there as well. Good job Connor!

Beating on that dead horse. Connor has been wrestling lights out! Crookham is the best 133 in the room. A good problem to have

Wrestlestat algorithms getting more accurate each year.

125 Bailey #16 fair rating. Higher by year end.
133 McGonagle #19 fair. 36-25 career with 3 wins against Top 20. Higher by year end.
141 Hines #34 low. Potential. Needs wins at 141.
149 Bryant #30/Brignola #35 low. Both have potential. Brignola 1 win in Top 35. 21-8. Bryant 9-8. Wins over #18 and #7. Would like to see Bryant go up to 165. Brignola to wrestler now at 149.
157 Humphreys #4 fair. Think he should be #1. Has beaten Robb.
165 Meyer #37 fair.
174 Lawrence #44 Logan #61. Lawrence 22-10 Best win #41. Logan 35-31 3 wins in Top 20. Would be nice if one of them could drop to 165.
184 Samuleson #23 low. Needs some wins.
197 Beard #5. low. Should be the #3
285 Jones #32, Taylor #37, Garcia # Jones best win #34 Taylor best win #28. Garcia has 0 NCAA bouts (3 years since PIAA State Championship).

Right now Project
2 All American
3 Knocking on door for R12 Bailey, McGonagle and Samuleson (been there)

For me, it looks good. Now to see some others get hot. 174 is so interesting because they both had great senior years in high school. Logan has beaten some very good wrestlers. Lawrence not seeing enough high caliber wrestlers, but was a very good WPIAL wrestler and PA State Champion. I see them both capable of Top 20 rankings.

149 should look good by EIWA/NCAA.
Unknown/Unknownd. Garcia getting into lineup will be huge. The young man was ferocious on the mat in high school. After 1 year at Michigan and 1.5 years at Lehigh, has to be even stronger, more athletic than when he was in high school. Just need to get him out there and let his athletic instinct and will to win take over. His dad Mike Garcia was a PA high school phenom.
